The path north takes us thru Colorado Springs onto Wyoming and into Montana. One long day of driving to get thru Wyoming, the scenery so beautiful, it's hard not to just keep taking pics along the way. Found a wonderful RV park in Garryowen, MT, 7th Ranch RV Camp. I will have to remember to put a great review on Trip Advisor. If anyone goes that way, stop there!! When they check you in, there is free ice cream!! That wasn't the best thou, the views are amazing. Big Montana sky is right!!
Were here a day to visit Custer's Last Stand, the battlegrounds and Little BigHorn National Monument. What an amazing place. I know I learned this in history class, but walking the fields, watching the movies, hearing the rangers and the Crow members talk of the battles, what the Indians went thru, is so dramatic.
When we first signed in the Visitor Center, looking around at all the history surrounding us, my husband heard someone say they were here from San Antonio. I turned around, a friend, nurse I've worked with for over 20 years, and her husband were also visiting! Wow, over 1000 miles away to meet my friend from a few miles away. What a small world.

Wild ponies that were all over the Crow Reservation in the National Park. It was beautiful watching them run and play. That is a small colt with his mother.
